The Curriculum

The Bible in Color curriculum is composed of lesson plans, each of which is usually 5 pages long.  The lesson plans are designed to give leaders some simple tools – tools that will help you teach  young believers to become comfortable, confident and excited about opening their Bibles.

1. A Systematic Approach To Studying The Bible

This Bible In Color Curriculum uses the Bible in Color Learning System.   The BIC Learning System includes:
  • A Bible in Color for each student
  • A Bible Box for the classroom – a red Bible box for the books of Moses and inside will be a collection of reminders.
  • A Bible in Color filing system – teachers will be able to look back at what has been taught and look ahead to see what is “coming soon”.

2. A Teaching Method

Every lesson includes “Hook, Look, Book, Took” method of teaching.  Whether you have learning stations, small classes, small family settings, curriculum or no curriculum ... this simple method is a great tool for your teaching tool box.

3. Simple Lesson Plans With Schedules & Stories

The sample schedules are easy to adapt, and the sample stories are quite simple – please read through these several times and adjust to meet your students needs.   Pray about ways to make your lessons - pieces of God's Word - come alive!  Pray for each of your students by name, pray for their families, their life situations, and their learning styles.   As you pray and grapple with teaching new believers, I know the Holy Spirit will enable you and fill you with anticipation!
